Cozy cottage with breathtaking sunsets with fire pit for roasting marshmallows. Home is family friendly with all modern conveniences including a fully stocked kitchen, large dining table and 55 inch tv. Wonderful 3BR, 1 full bath lake front cottage house. Sleeps 6 plus 2 sleeper sofa’s with blow up mattresses with ability to sleep 8-10. 1 king sized bed in primary bedroom, 1 queen bed in second bedroom and 1 twin with trundle in third bedroom. 80’of sandy lake front on the beautiful Patterson Lake on the -Patterson Chain of 7 Lakes. Which is located less than a mile from Pinckney Recreation Area. The chain of lakes include Woodburn, Patterson, Watson, Bruin, Halfmoon, Blind and Hi-Land lakes plus various coves and waterways connecting the lakes. This entire area is naturally scenic along with miles of hiking and biking trails that run along/through the chain and connecting recreation areas. Patterson Lake is all sports. Our home is fully furnished with all modern amenities. A natural gas generator, 2 Kayaks a paddle boat and beach toys to use. 50' dock. Fire pit with plenty of outside seating. Boat launch nearby for your OWN boat that you can tie at our dock. Come spend your summer vacation here!
Your dog(s), maximum 2 may be allowed with prior approval from home owner. Pet fee additional. Absolutely no large gatherings or parties on the property or lake front.

Summary: Nice sandy beach. Easy to get kayaks out. Nice fire pit. Nice back patio. Indoor table fits eight. Bedding pretty.Would stay here again.

Summary: We had a wonderful time at Sunset Bay. The house was beautiful! The best part was the yard and the beach. Our granddaughters loved building sand castles. We all had fun in the water and the kayaks were an added bonus. Lorraine and Nick were wonderful hosts. We'd love to come back! I would highly recommend Sunset Bay Cottage for a fun family vacation!

Summary: The property was everything we could hope for and more. The house itself was incredibly well kept, and the kitchen specifically was very well stocked with clean, new pots & pans and all the kitchen accessories (incl a very nice knife block) we needed. There were three kayaks and a paddle boat which turned out to be the hit of the week for our kids. We fished off the dock and pulled a half-dozen bass on our first few casts. The private beach was the best part of the whole thing, and our dog jumped into and swim in a lake for the first time ever...turns out she's a water dog after all. Our kids were very sad when we left this morning...they would have stayed all summer! We will come back as often as the hosts will have us!

Summary: we had an amazing time at the cottage. The cottage itself is adorable and very clean. The beach was sandy and we enjoyed a week of kayaking, swimming, boating, fishing and relaxing with friends and family. Even our day of rain was relaxing with books and movies and of course endless card games. Our hosts were amazing and responded quickly with answers to my questions. all in all I would rent this cottage again and again.
